  • OVERVIEW – CapitalRise is providing a development loan to refinance the existing debt and provide funding to partially fund the final construction works for the development of 23 studio apartments in South Kensington, London. In December 2023, CapitalRise issued a senior development loan to refinance existing debt and fund final development works. When the loan was issued, the Borrower had been granted two planning consents and was awaiting a decision on the third, with a view that the development works would start once the third planning consent was approved. However, the third consent never came through. In Q4 2024, the Borrower successfully received planning and now intends to complete the scheme. In light of the planning situation being resolved, CapitalRise is happy to support the Borrower by issuing a new senior development loan.

 

  • Location – The Property is located on Gloucester Road which is a well-regarded mixed-use road with good connections to transport and local amenities. South Kensington is a highly sought-after Prime London location, and the area appeals to the affluent domestic and international market.
